Range Duty Volunteers still needed for LDRS 29
ROC plans to host another great LDRS this year, but we can't do it alone.
LDRS 29 is just over 2 weeks away, and yet, barely half of the range duty positions have been filled so far. We need your help -- running a large rocket launch event is a group effort, and everyone's assistance is needed.
Without volunteers, launches simply don't happen.
We need volunteers to work as Pad Managers and Assistants, LCOs, RSOs, Spotters, and to help out at the Registration table. No prior experience is necessary -- we'll be happy to provide plenty of on-the-job training. Shifts are short, too: just 2 hours, so you'll still have plenty of time to fly.
RSO, LCO, and PM volunteers must be adults, but responsible children and teenagers are welcome to sign up as Pad Assistants and Spotters, and to help out at the Registration table. RSOs must be certified level 2 or level 3 high-power flyers.
Please sign up at http://ldrs29.org/content/range-duty-signup to work a shift or two!
With our thanks,
The LDRS 29 Planning Crew/ROC Board
